    Artist statement

This piece holds a quiet, compressed tension.
The forms are tightly arranged, preserved in a state that feels almost suspended.

There is a sense of stillness that leans toward absence—
as if time has slowed, or stopped altogether.

The surface suggests cold containment, where nothing decays, yet nothing lives.
What remains is held in place, caught between preservation and loss.

    The silence is not empty.
It is frozen, carrying the weight of what no longer moves.
