Stephenie Anderson is a Texas based multidisciplinary artist and the founder of Shield of Dreams Studio. She holds a Bachelor's in Fine Art and Education and over a decade of teaching experience. With 14 years of studio practice, she works in gouache, watercolor, acrylic, ceramics, and mixed media to translate personal memory and cultural myth into intimate, detailed imagery.

Her work most often uses botanical and animal motifs as symbolic languages, born from a lifelong attentiveness to the natural world and the early loss of her father that probe resilience, belonging, and the shared passages between human and nonhuman life.
