Stacy Jenkins always loved to draw as a child, and took art classes all through high school.  She became a Pre-K teacher and in 2020, retired from Denton ISD.  That fall she enrolled in her first oil painting class at Studio Art House in Highland Village, and hasn’t stopped painting since.  She enjoys exploring a variety of mediums including oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite and charcoal.   While portraiture is her specialty, she also enjoys other subject matter including animals and landscapes.  Stacy currently is a member of the Cross Timbers Artists Guild and the Visual Art League of Lewisville.
